Prince Gong's Mansion is large-scale, covering an area of about 60,000 square meters, divided into two parts: the mansion and the garden, with more than 30 buildings of various types, with exquisite layout and extraordinary style.

Prince Gong's Mansion has gone through the historical process of the Qing Dynasty from its peak to its decline, and carries extremely rich historical and cultural information, so there is a saying that "a Prince Gong's Mansion, half of the history of the Qing Dynasty".

After the fall of the Qing Dynasty, the property rights of the mansion once belonged to Fu Jen University, and in the early 80s, Prince Gong's Mansion has become a compound with more than 200 households divided by 8 units and inhabited by hundreds of households. To restore Prince Gong's Mansion, the first task was to relocate. In 1988, Prince Gong's Mansion Garden was opened to the public

Prince Gong's Mansion is located in the Shichahai area of Kyoto's Feng Shui treasure, covering an area of more than 60,000 square meters, with "99 and a half rooms" called the back cover building to block the waist to separate it from the mansion and the garden, the mansion is dignified and solemn, and the garden is beautiful and prosperous. In the front and back seas where the palace and the Baylor mansion are gathered, Prince Gong's Mansion is known as "the best landscape in the city" for its magnificence, and it is also famous for its mansion system comparable to that of the Forbidden City.
