The Ferrari 599 GTB Ferorano is a two-seater sports car designed by Pininfarina that made its debut at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show to replace the Ferrari 575MMaranello model. The 599 is derived from its engine displacement of 5999cc, GTB is an abbreviation for GranTurismo Berlinetta, and Fiorano is the name of Ferrari's test track. The 599GTB Feriano features a range of revolutionary technologies, many of which were first used in a mid-front-engined Ferrari two-seater, and set new benchmarks in its class in terms of handling, driving pleasure and design.
