Feng Qiao was a famous craftsman in the late Ming Dynasty, with exquisite skills, who worked in the Ministry of Industry and was responsible for palace construction affairs many times. After Feng Qiao's death, Liang Jiu succeeded him in the Ministry of Industry. In the early years of the Qing Dynasty, Liang Jiu was responsible for the construction of important construction projects in the court. In the 34th year of Kangxi Reign (1695), the main hall in the Forbidden City, the Taihe Palace, was rebuilt by Liang Jiu. Before the construction began, he made a wooden model of the Taihe Hall according to the scale of one-tenth, and its shape, structure, and decoration were the same as the real thing, and the construction was based on it, which was known as a stunt at that time. The Taihe Hall he rebuilt has been preserved to this day.
