"Hey, do you want this one?" The blonde man didn't show any expression in the face of the sudden mutation, but turned back to the dark place to speak.

"What are the bugs for? Don't!" Another man stepped out of the darkness as the cold voice sounded, he was about the same height as the blonde man, with gray hair and his right eye covered by hair.

"Alright then!" the blonde man shrugged, pulled out a small glass jar of red liquid from his pocket, and smashed it at the mutated old gentleman.

The

glass jar shattered, and the red liquid covered the old gentleman's corpse and centipede, causing its body to emit white smoke and a corrosive sound of "sizzle".

The monster writhed at a distance, and the flesh quickly dissolved under the corrosion of the red liquid, and in less than a minute, the centipede monster turned into a pool of blood.

"Fili, just touch the bugs when you go out, it doesn't seem like you'll have much to gain tonight!" the blonde man smiled at the gray-haired man, glancing at the blood on the ground.

"Not necessarily!" the gray-haired man looked in the direction of Hamilton's flight.

Hamilton panicked and fled all the way to a narrow alley, when a door was pushed open, and a body came out, and Hamilton was caught off guard, collided with the figure, and rolled to the ground.

"Who!" was a middle-aged man, bespectacled, who shouted angrily, the muzzle of a double-barreled hound pointed at Hamilton.

"Don't shoot, I'm human, I'm human!" Hamilton clutched his head and begged for mercy!

The

middle-aged man looked at Hamilton carefully, then glanced outside guardedly, reached out and grabbed Hamilton by the collar, pulled him into the room, and locked the door.

Hamilton was pushed by the middle-aged man, fell on his heels, and looked extremely embarrassed, and when he came back to his senses and looked up, he found that there was a woman in the room, protecting the two children behind him, a man and a woman and two children poked their heads out behind the women, and looked at Hamilton with curious eyes.

"Outlander?" the middle-aged man asked Hamilton the same question as the blonde man.

Hamilton nodded.

"Only outsiders dare to break into the quarantine area at night, I really don't know whether to live or die!" the middle-aged man snorted coldly and put away the double-barreled shotgun, "Just sit down!".

Hamilton staggered and sat down in a chair, and after a brief moment of astonishment, the woman regained her composure and poured him a cup of coffee.

With the hot coffee in his stomach, Hamilton's frightened mood calmed down a lot, and under the middle-aged man's inquiry, he intermittently told what had happened to him, and the two children sat there and listened with relish.

"You should have met the 'Death Bailiff'!" the middle-aged man lifted his glasses on the bridge of his nose, "Good luck!".

"Mr. Webster, what is 'Death Bailiff'?" From the conversation just now, Hamilton learned that the middle-aged man's name was Perry Webster, and his wife's name was Maggie Webster.

"The Death Marshals are a new organization of the Chamber of Commerce, a department dedicated to dealing with gravediggers and illegal necromancers and monsters, and they have independent arbitrators who can deal with criminals directly without going through the courts!

Hamilton is convinced of the description of "ruthless", and he has seen firsthand the style of the other party who shoots without saying a word!

"Mr. Webster, why are you living in quarantine?" Hamilton asked without words.

Mr. and Mrs. Webster exchanged tender glances, and Mrs. Webster replied with a soft smile, "This is our home, why can't we live here!".

Seeing Hamilton's puzzled expression, Mr. Webster smiled and explained, "The quarantine area is not a no-man's land of death, there are many families living here like us, but no one will run through the streets at night like you!"

Hamilton smiled sheepishly.

The three chatted for a while, and the Websters went to the second floor to tidy up the guest room for Hamilton to rest.

Hamilton, on the other hand, is dragged by two curious children to tell a story.

Moments later, the Websters packed up their rooms and invited Hamilton to stay.

Mr. Webster sent Hamilton into the guest room, and after exchanging goodnight, he suddenly remembered something and said to Hamilton: "Mr. Sawyer, you know, the night in the quarantine area is not very peaceful, if you hear something in the middle of the night, don't be curious! Stay in the room and don't come out!".

Mr. Webster's expression when he said this made Hamilton's heart tremble, and he hurriedly agreed, closed the door, and locked it.

Hamilton lay in bed, still shuddering as he thought about what he had been through tonight, and he decided to retrieve his lost luggage early tomorrow morning, when the sun came out, and then leave Samsara Town without looking back, and he would never return to this place.

Thinking about it, Hamilton fell into a deep sleep.

"Mr. Sawyer, Mr. Sawyer!" a small hand gently pushed Hamilton, causing him to wake up slowly, and in a daze, he saw Webster's youngest son crouching beside him, pushing him anxiously.

"Little Webster, why are you in my room?" Hamilton suddenly came to his senses.

"What are you talking about, Mr. Sawyer, and why are you sleeping on the parlor floor?" asked him rhetorically.

Hamilton was shocked when he heard this, and immediately sat up, looked around, and found that he was literally lying on the floor of the living room on the first floor.

Why is this happening? Hamilton felt his mind so confused that he couldn't figure out what was going on.

Seeing Hamilton's sluggish face, little Webster laughed and said, "Mr. Sawyer, you must be sleepwalking!"

No, I didn't!" Hamilton replied in his mind, and at last he remembered Mr. Webster's reminder that something strange must have happened to him in his sleep, but he didn't remember it at all

Now he just wants to get back to his room as soon as possible!

Thinking about it, Hamilton stood up and laughed dryly, "Maybe, come, I'll go back to my room and sleep quickly, I can't run around at night!"

Little Webster nodded obediently and jumped forward, Hamilton following him.

Suddenly, little Webster stopped and asked without looking back, "Mr. Sawyer, do you know that there is an underground secret room in our house? My brothers and sisters and I often play hide and seek there, do you want to join us?"

"Brothers and sisters?" Hamilton was shocked when he heard this, he had only seen little Webster's sister, and had seen others, could it be that the Websters had other children?

"It's too late today, why don't I play with you another day!" Hamilton said perfunctorily.

"Alright!" little Webster still didn't look back, "the way to open the underground chamber is to press the button next to the clock on the second floor!"

"Got it!" Hamilton just wanted to get back to his room as quickly as possible.

"Do you remember? Mr. Sawyer!" said little Webster at this point.

Hamilton saw that his face was full of rats, and no, he saw that little Webster's face was all made of rats!

The faces of the dense rats squirmed, and the mouths formed by the two rats opened and closed, "Mr. Sawyer, do you remember?"

"Ahh

He shuddered violently, and then felt himself soar into the air and hit the ground hard.

Hamilton gasped and got up from the floor to find himself still in his room, and everything that had just happened was nothing more than a nightmare!

He was cold, cold sweat had soaked his clothes, and he crawled back to the edge of the bed and sat down, his chest still rising and falling rapidly.

It turned out to be a dream, just a dream, just a dream! Hamilton tried his best to comfort himself and slowly calm down.

"Squeak!".

The locked door of the guest room opened automatically, and Hamilton looked up in horror to see Webster's daughter standing at the door of the guest room, staring at him with her eyes

faint

In the next second, Webster's daughter disappeared, and Hamilton's body became uncontrollably on its feet, chasing him out of the door.

I don't want it, I don't want to go out!" Hamilton shouted in his heart, but his feet seemed to be controlled, and he involuntarily walked towards the staircase on the second floor, and Webster's daughter appeared not far in front of him, slowly leading the way, and Hamilton involuntarily followed her.

Webster's daughter came to the second floor clock and disappeared, and Hamilton also came to the clock, his hand couldn't help but lift and press the hidden button next to the clock, he didn't know why he did it, he just felt that he had to do it!

A secret door appeared next to the clock, Hamilton looked at the black hole in the hallway, raised his foot and stepped in, the secret door quickly closed behind him, and the passage fell into darkness again!

It was a deep underground passage, and Hamilton didn't know how long he had been walking down until he finally noticed a faint light burning ahead.

Walking out of the passage, Hamilton came to a not wide, like a temporary excavation of the underground chamber, the surrounding is dim, the only place where the light is bright, there is a shrine platform, on which are regularly placed with various items, the center of the altar is enshrined a head-sized object, wrapped in a heavy package, on which is placed half of a metal semicircular nameplate, Hamilton took a closer look, the nameplate is a pattern composed of countless tentacles, he just glanced at it, he felt that the world was spinning, and a terrifying murmur sounded in his ears.

"Mr. Sawyer!".

The sudden scream startled Hamilton, who woke up like a man in his sleep had suddenly fallen, and his hands and feet were once again in his grasp.

"Mr. Sawyer!" said Mr. Webster as he stepped out of the shadows, "didn't I tell you not to run away?".

His expression looked extremely hideous in the flickering light.

"Yes, I'm sorry, Mr. Webster!" Hamilton swallowed, "it was your daughter who brought me here!".

"My daughter?" Mr. Webster's face suddenly turned gloomy, and he pointed to the shrine, "My daughter is there!".

Hamilton's scalp suddenly tingled, and the direction of Webster's finger was the wrapped object on the altar!
