The hares also have to put up a shelf.

- Dongxiang proverb

The

Tang Wu people were originally a branch of the Qiang people, and they were close relatives of the Tubo people on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. They did not recognize their six relatives, and often united with the Tuyuhun people to fight against the powerful Tibetans.

Later, Tuyuhun was exterminated by the Tibetans. The Tang Wu people lost their attachment and hurriedly annexed to the Tang Empire in the east. They were placed in Songzhou by the Tang Emperor, and gradually multiplied into several large tribes, occupying places such as the southeast of Xihai and the south of Longyuan, and later moved to the areas north of Gyeongju and Yinzhou and east of Xiazhou. This is the old land of Daxia established by the Huns during the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and it was called Pingxia at that time. This part of the Tang Wu people was called the Pingxia tribe, that is, the ancestors of the royal family of the Baigao Daxia Kingdom in the future.

In 1038, the Tang Wu people of the Li clan designated Huaiyuan Town as the capital and officially established the Baigao Daxia Kingdom.

The Baigao Daxia Kingdom, also known as the Bangni Dingguo, may be a literal translation of the Tang Wu language, and the paraphrase is the Baigao Kingdom or the Baishang Kingdom. In the first theory, Baigao refers to the Baishui in the upper reaches of the Baihe River, which originates in the northwest of Sichuanzhou, which means that the birthplace of the Tang Wu people is on the Songpan Plateau. The second theory is that the Tang Wu people admired white and gave the country a lofty name.

Seeing that Tang Wu was arrogant and betrayed the suzerain, Dongfang urgently issued a conscription order, calling on aspiring young people to join the army and exterminate the rebels.

Wang Shanren of Bingzhou City is a descendant of Wang Chen and the great-grandson of Wang Yanshou. When he heard that the Tang Wu people were coming to attack the Eastern Kingdom, he was very angry.

He scolded bitterly: "As soon as the puppy grows baby teeth, it learns to open its mouth and bite its owner!"

Wang Shanren was young and strong, and in anger, he signed up for the army, and was soon sent to the northern border to guard the territory of the eastern country. He and the soldiers rubbed their hands, preparing to teach the Tang Wu people who turned against each other to teach a lesson.

After 40 years of recuperation, the eastern country has strengthened its economic and military strength to a certain extent. Therefore, from the majestic and noble king to the ordinary soldier Wang Shanren, almost everyone underestimated the strength of the Tang Wuren.

In August 1040, Wang Shanren saw that the time had come to kill the enemy and take revenge, and took the initiative to ask the army general to fight to stop the army of Bai Gao Daxia. They were attacked by the Tang Wu people at Sanchuankou, and before they could stand on their heels, they were surrounded by the enemy.

The two sides killed in the dark, and the corpses were everywhere.

Wang Shanren rose up to fight, bravely killed the enemy, and became a famous battle hero in the Eastern Kingdom. He led a detachment to retreat to the slopes of the mountains near the mouth of the three rivers, directing his soldiers to build fortifications while keeping an eye on the rugged paths in the valley.

The soldiers of the Great Xia Kingdom launched a fierce attack on the slope of the hill where Wang Shanren was stationed.

The

armies of the Eastern States were not superior in numbers, and their battle plans were not perfect, and they could not shake an enemy several times their size.

The army of Bai Gao Daxia won a complete victory, captured Wang Shanren and a large number of other soldiers, escorted them back to China, and put them in a prisoner camp.

Wang Shanren's younger brother Wang Shande was indignant when he heard that his brother had been kidnapped by the Tang Wuren. He resolutely ran to the government and asked to join the army to avenge his brother.

Wang Shande quickly entered the battle. He followed the army on a long journey, and he was sleepy and dazed, and broke into the enemy's ambush circle.

The generals of the Eastern Kingdom were fearless in the face of strong enemies, took the lead, fought bravely, and died on the battlefield. With the loss of the commander-in-chief, the army was in chaos. Wang Shande stepped forward and tried his best to organize a fight. Unfortunately, he was just a recruit who had just enlisted in the army, and he was soft-spoken, and no one obeyed his command. The soldiers fled in all directions, and were almost wiped out by the enemy's fierce pursuit.

Wang Shande was unfortunately wounded in the battle, captured by the Tang Wu, and escorted to the Baigao Daxia Kingdom, where he was imprisoned in a prisoner camp built on a barren beach.

Brothers Wang Shanren and Wang Shande met unexpectedly in a cell in a foreign country.

The four eyes were facing each other, happy and sad, crying and laughing. Wang Shande is happy that his brother did not die in battle and is still alive in the world. Wang Shanren is sad that his younger brother has fallen into the prison of the enemy again, and his future is uncertain. They sighed at the defeat of the Eastern Army, and sighed that they had no ambition to serve the country.

At the south gate of Tokyo, Gong Yizhong, the descendant of Gong Shixiang and the son of Gong Yuan, is burly, with a round waist and thick arms, and a loud voice, which is not at all like the gentle and elegant Gong family. He hated the Tang Wu people to the core, and wished he had a pair of wings and flew to the front line to kill the enemy.

As a humble pawn, Gong Yizhong took the survival of the country as his own responsibility and practiced his skills to kill the enemy. Walking on the battlefield, he held a broadsword, charged into battle, and started a bloody battle with the soldiers of the White Gao Daxia Kingdom, killing countless enemies and scaring off a large number of enemies.

The army of the Eastern Kingdom lacked a fierce body and a firm belief in victory, and no matter how brave Gong Yizhong was, it would be useless. In the end, Gong Yizhong spilled his blood on the battlefield and died heroically, and was awarded the title of "Loyal Warrior" by the commander of the Eastern Kingdom.

In 1044, the two countries were reconciled with an armistice.

Wang Shanren and Wang Shande were repatriated and annexed as exchange prisoners. When they returned to their hometowns after many years of absence, they immediately took off their wolf-smoked robes, washed away the dust of the war, and returned to their old business and made money wholeheartedly.

Wang Shanren and Wang Shande relied on their understanding of the trade market of Bai Gao Daxia Kingdom, and made the business of the former enemy country, turned the small business into a big business, and made a lot of money from the Tang Wu people.

In 1081, the Eastern Kingdom gathered 5 armies to crusade against the Baigao Xia Kingdom.

Wang Shande and Wang Shanren were too old to go to the battlefield to kill the enemy in person, so they sent their sons Wang Tiancheng and Wang Tiancheng to the front line respectively to perform the sacred duty of protecting their families and defending the country for themselves.

Wang Tiancheng and Wang Tiancheng followed the vanguard from Lintao, crossed the Mabitshan Mountain, arrived at the ancient city of Kang, captured the new city of Xishi, conquered the important town of Jincheng in one fell swoop, set up the marshal's mansion and built the Jincheng.

Wang Tiancheng stayed in Jincheng to garrison. Wang Tiancheng followed the main force and continued to advance.

Gong Yizhong's son, Gong Fugui, served as a soldier on Jingyuan Road. They fought bravely, killed countless enemies, and reached the city of Lingzhou victoriously.

The Tang Wu people came up with a trick to dig the embankment of the Yellow River, release water to flood the military camp of the Eastern Kingdom, and cut off the road to transport food and wages, resulting in starvation and cold among the soldiers, and many casualties.

Gong Fugui's luck was not bad, and he finally left a life. However, two of his toes froze off. The whole person is described as withered, skinny and bone-like, like a dried corpse. The two big eyes were spinning, proving that he was still alive.

As the saying goes, if you hide from the first year of junior high school, you can't hide from the fifteenth.

Soon, the army of the Eastern Kingdom was surrounded by the Tang Wu army. More than 20,000 soldiers were unwilling to surrender and resisted desperately, and all of them were killed.

Gong Fugui is not worthy of his name, he is neither rich nor noble, and he turned into a wisp of green smoke and flew into the sky, leaving a pile of white bones in the vast wilderness.
