Since saving the princess from Baoxiang Kingdom, the king and his ministers escorted him out of the city. They were hungry and thirsty along the way, and stayed overnight and walked early in the morning.

It was spring, and the breeze blew the willows green like silk, which was the most beautiful scenery. The birds were singing, the flowers were blooming in the warmth, and the ground was full of fragrance.

While the master and his disciples were enjoying the scenery, they saw a mountain blocking the road. Tang Sanzang said: "Disciples, be careful. There are high mountains ahead, and there may be tigers and wolves blocking us."

Sun Wukong laughed and said: "Master, monks should not talk about laymen. Do you remember the words in the Heart Sutra of Wuchao Monk that the mind should be free from worries, and without worries, there will be no fear, and it should be far away from upside-down dreams?

But it is just to clear the dirt on the heart and wash the dust around the ears. If you don't suffer the most, you can't be a superior person. Don't worry, but with me, even if the sky collapses, I can guarantee that nothing will happen. What are you afraid of tigers and wolves!"

After hearing this, Tang Sanzang turned his horse and said: "When I was ordered to leave Chang'an, I only remembered the face of the Buddha who came to the west. I searched all over the world. Nameless water, travels all over the world but never reaches the mountain. With the waves of smoke, when can I be free? "

Sun Wukong said with a smile: "Master, what is the difficulty in being free? After success, all attachments will be gone, and all dharmas will be empty. At that time, it will be natural, but won't it be free?"

Hearing 157 words, Tang Sanzang had to be happy and forget his worries, and at the same time he sighed: "Wukong, I didn't expect that I need your teachings now. Your Buddha nature is much better than mine!"

Tang Sanzang was not jealous of this, but was happy that Sun Wukong had such enlightenment.

Zhu Bajie and Sha Seng were not interested in Buddhism, and they joined the Journey to the West team just to complete their mission. Watching the two talking about Buddhism, although they didn't understand it very well, they also understood that Sun Wukong was really talented.

Especially Zhu Bajie, this is even more true.

"This monkey has become a Daluo Jinxian in just a few hundred years. After the Journey to the West, I'm afraid there will be another Hunyuan Jinxian..."

Zhu Bajie sighed in his heart.

This matter has nothing to do with him. What achievements Sun Wukong can make in the future is what his master should care about. He only wants to finish the Journey to the West as soon as possible so that he can go back.

The road they took was indeed difficult, especially at the border between the two countries, where there was no official road at all. Not to mention the main road, even the narrow path was very luxurious.

The master and his disciples came up the mountain and saw that the mountain was very steep, with towering ridges and sharp peaks. Bend the deep ravines and stand on the edge of steep cliffs.

Below the deep ravines, only the sound of the water python turning over could be heard; on the edge of the steep cliffs, the tiger that came out of the forest was seen cutting its tail. Looking up, the peaks of the mountains are soaring through the sky; looking back, the valleys are so deep that they are close to the blue sky.

Tang Sanzang stopped his horse to look at the mountain. When he was at the difficult part, he saw a woodcutter standing on the green grass slope.

The woodcutter was wearing an old blue felt hat and a woolen patchwork coat. The old blue felt hat, which can cover the smoke and sun, is indeed rare. The woolen patchwork coat, which can make people forget their worries, is really rare.

Holding the steel axe, he sharpened it quickly and cut the dry wood with a knife. The spring scenery on the shoulder is quiet and warm in all seasons;

The leisure outside the body is often three stars. When you grow old, you just live your life according to your lot. What honor and disgrace are there in the mountains?

For some reason, Tang Sanzang felt that the man in front of him hadSome look familiar.

But he was traveling westward, where were there any familiar people?

Tang Sanzang thought he had seen it wrong.

But Sun Wukong was different. His cultivation had increased greatly recently, and he had the golden eyes. He knew at a glance that the woodcutter was extraordinary.

"There is no demonic aura on this person. He is not a demon. Maybe he is a great god!" Sun Wukong thought.

The woodcutter was cutting rotten wood in front of the slope when he met Tang Sanzang and his disciples. He stopped his axe and walked out of the forest. He stepped onto the cliff and shouted to the elders: "Elders who are heading west! Stop for a moment. I have something to tell you: there is a group of poisonous monsters in this mountain, and they eat you who come and go."

Hearing that there were monsters, Tang Sanzang turned around and called his disciples: "You heard the woodcutter report that there are poisonous monsters in this mountain. Who dares to ask him in detail?"

Sun Wukong said: "Master, don't worry, I will go and ask."

After saying that, he started to walk up the mountain. He called out to the woodcutter, "Old man!"

He asked for his advice, and the woodcutter replied, "Elder, why are you here?"

Sun Wukong smiled and said, "To be honest, old man, we are sent by the East to the West to obtain scriptures. That horse is my master, and he is a little timid.

I just heard that there is some poisonous demon and monster, so I came to ask. How old is the demon, how old is the monster? Is he still a powerful one, or a novice?

Please tell me the truth, so that I can ask the mountain gods and the land gods to escort him away."

While talking, Sun Wukong looked at the woodcutter from time to time. Sun Wukong's tone was very casual, and it seemed that he was not afraid of demons at all.

The woodcutter laughed at the sky and said, "You are a crazy monk!"

Sun Wukong shook his head and said, "I am not crazy, I am just telling the truth!"

While speaking, Sun Wukong was also making gestures.

The woodcutter didn't believe it and asked, "You said you were telling the truth, how dare you be so disrespectful, what else is it but bragging?"

Without waiting for Sun Wukong to speak, the woodcutter laughed again and said, "I kindly reminded you, but I didn't expect to meet a crazy monk like you. It's my fault that I misjudged you!"

"Hehe!" Sun Wukong smiled and said, "I have learned some magical powers. If that demon dares to do something here, I will smash it to pieces!"

The woodcutter couldn't help laughing and said, "You, a wind-splashed monk, must have learned some spells and water in the world while traveling. Magic can only exorcise evil spirits and bind ghosts, but I have never encountered such a vicious monster. "

Sun Wukong said softly, "Oh", and asked, "Is the demon so vicious?"

The woodcutter said slowly, "This mountain is about 600 miles away, and it is called Pingding Mountain. There is a cave in the mountain, called Lotus Cave. There are two demons in the cave, who specialize in eating people from the Tang Dynasty in the East!"

Sun Wukong nodded and said, "We are from the Tang Dynasty."

Hearing this, the woodcutter pointed and said, "That is to eat you, you are in trouble!"

As he said this, his tone was full of regrets and sighs.

How could Sun Wukong know thatInstead, he said, "Good fortune! Good fortune!"

The woodcutter sighed, "Monk, don't talk nonsense. That monster has five treasures with him, and his magical powers are extremely vast. Even if it is a jade pillar that supports the sky and a golden beam that spans the sea, if you want to save a monk from the Tang Dynasty, he will also have to faint."

Sun Wukong asked, "How many faints?"

The woodcutter said, "Three or four faints."

Sun Wukong waved his hand and said, "It's okay, it's okay. We often faint seven or eight hundred times a year. These three or four faints are easy to make, and they will pass after a few faints."

The two of them went back and forth, one said that the monster was terrible, and the other boasted and talked nonsense.

However, Sun Wukong understood the situation clearly and did not bother about who the person in front of him was.

As long as it was definitely not a monster, Sun Wukong would not ask more questions.
